The Future of Motiv8

Please note that our funding is coming to an end and Motiv8 is due to close on 31st March 2023.

After 6 years of delivery, and several extensions, the current funding for Motiv8’s award-winning Building Better Opportunities programme is due to end in 2023.

We have had some incredible achievements and supported over 5,800 participants to make positive changes in their lives since the beginning of 2017, and we have been fortunate to undertake this work with such fantastic and caring colleagues and partners.

Key Dates

As of 1st November 2022, Motiv8 is no longer accepting referrals.

Closing to referrals early will allow us time to provide support to those individuals already on programme. If participants have not completed their Motiv8 journey by the end of March 2023, we will support them to access another agency that can take them forward.

Looking Ahead

We are aware that Motiv8 provides a crucial extra layer of support that so many people need before they are ready to look for employment or training.

We are proactively exploring options to secure alternative funding to continue our work beyond March 2023 helping the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in Greater Manchester - we will keep sharing news and updates via our existing channels.

Motiv8 has been set up thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund as part of the Building Better Opportunities programme.
