A positive difference

Confidence returned

We have received this wonderful feedback from a participant who, through her support from Motiv8, now feels confident enough to look for employment in the New Year.

"When I first heard of Motiv8 through a friend, I must admit I was reluctant to join as I don't like change. I was assigned to a keyworker and straight away she was so easy to talk to, which put me at ease. She phoned me every week to see how I was and helped me with any problems I had. She put me int touch with people who could also help me financially e.g. gas and electric discount, furniture and even a food hamper for Christmas, which will help me out greatly.

Through her help I am now doing an IT course and Motiv8 has even provided me with a laptop to do my work - which I could never afford.

In the New Year I will be actively looking for work and feel more confident to do this. I believe if it wasn't for my key worker I wouldn't be in the position I am now. She has actually made me feel like someone again.
